The European project RIDi Pyrenees, coordinated by IEDIS Unizar and comprising nine partners, takes a key step in scientific cooperation between Spain and France.
During its latest follow-up meeting, held on February 26th in Zaragoza, the mapping of scientific collaborations was presented. This was developed
after standardizing the academic activity data from the four universities of the Iberus Campus (University of Zaragoza, Public University of Navarra, University of La Rioja, and University of Lleida). A fundamental milestone for the development of its Cross-Border Knowledge Search Engine and, subsequently, the RIDi Living Lab, a space for the development of joint projects and innovative knowledge exchange.
In later phases, the scientific data from the University of Toulouse, the largest academic institution in southern France, will also be integrated, allowing for the expansion of this cross-border collaboration network.
The Knowledge Exchange Platform under development will facilitate both digital and in-person exchange of knowledge, technologies, and resources, thereby strengthening collaboration among key innovation stakeholders. With this initiative, RIDi Pyrenees is establishing itself as a benchmark in knowledge transfer and in the generation of synergies between the academic field and the business sector in the POCTEFA area.
In addition to the presentation of the mapping, the meeting also served to update key aspects of the project’s management and communication, ensuring its progress towards the next established milestones.
