The Platform will allow universities and businesses to exchange knowledge, technologies and resources from a dual digital and physical perspective.
This CIP will have original elements that will bring an innovative added value to the proposal. Specifically, the CIP will have a digital space in which a Cross-Border Knowledge Search Engine (BIC) will be designed which, based on data analysis and artificial intelligence tools, will generate convergence between business innovation opportunities and academic expertise for the joint development of new products and services.
This digital space for the sharing of ideas and projects will be complemented by a Living Lab space for the dynamisation of the territory, which will constitute a test environment for new technologies and innovative solutions, as well as including regular meetings and events, and training activities. This Platform will generate a Network that will allow to achieve results that will benefit companies, especially SMEs based in the POCTEFA territory, so that they can improve their R+D+i capabilities and benefit from the knowledge and expertise of experts from the academic world:
Identifying areas of common interest, such as Agri-Food, Health, Energy or Urban Mobility, among others.
Promoting training and capacity building in these areas.
Promoting formal collaboration agreements between universities and companies to work collaboratively on different projects.
Encouraging joint participation in funding programmes promoted by public and private organisations.
